The Ben Logan Sisk award is the highest honor given by TBS. It is awarded to a graduating senior in recognition of outstanding character, student leadership, and service to the band.

About Ben Logan Sisk:

Ben Logan Sisk was the Director of Bands at Georgia Tech from 1946 until his retirement in 1975. During his time, there were some notable changes that occurred to the band program. The first being that in 1946, the first two women joined the band. Additionally, the Music Department was established, allowing students to take band classes for an elective credit. Further, the Epsilon Theta chapter of Tau Beta Sigma was chartered in 1973.
